BullVend as an alternative to ASO Vending
ASO Vending is an established operator with a nationwide service network. BullVend takes a different path: our own machine brand and a custom configurator. A comparison of when each one pays off.

If you're looking for vending for your company, hotel or a public space in Slovakia, you'll bump into ASO Vending almost every time. They're one of the largest players in the country, partners with Evoca Group and Lavazza, and run a service network covering the whole of Slovakia. That's their main strength and the reason most customers pick them.
BullVend takes a different route. We're smaller, but we build on our own machine brand, a custom-fit configurator and a more flexible contract model. In this article we'll say honestly when ASO Vending makes sense and when BullVend is the better choice. No marketing fluff — just the differences as they are.
Who ASO Vending is
ASO Vending has been on the Slovak market for more than two decades. They distribute machines from the Italian Evoca group (Necta, Saeco) and coffee from Lavazza. With twenty-six service depots across the country they can cover even smaller districts. For an operator who wants a single partner from delivery through service to refilling, that's a strong offer.
Their typical model is full-service: ASO keeps owning the machine, you provide the space and they handle everything else. It works well where a company wants vending as a staff perk and doesn't have the bandwidth to run it.
How BullVend differs from ASO Vending
BullVend isn't a distributor. We sell our own machine line under the Bull brand (Classic, Pro, Lift, Outdoor, Fresh & Frost, Custom & Secure) and Bull Barista coffee machines. That has two practical consequences.
- Bespoke branding. The machine can carry your logo, your colours, your visual identity. For a retail chain, a fitness centre or a hotel that's an important detail. With a full-service model from a third-party brand, that's not a given.
- Configurator instead of a price list. Five questions and the system recommends the exact model for your space and product mix. No hours on the phone before the first quote.
- You own it. With us you buy the machine (or, in the future, lease it). Unlike some full-service contracts, you keep full control over your assortment, prices and data.

When to pick ASO Vending
There are situations where ASO Vending makes more sense than us. We'll be honest about it because it shows up sooner or later anyway.
- You need on-site service in Stropkov, Bardejov or Snina within two hours of the call. Their nationwide network really wins there.
- You want a zero-effort model: someone else owns the machine, refills it and you only provide the space. Classic full-service.
- Lavazza is an important brand for you — both on the machine and in the cup. ASO has it as the standard combination.
- You manage a portfolio of hundreds of machines where one contract partner across the country simplifies life.
When to pick BullVend
And now the situations where we're genuinely the better choice.
- You care about how the machine looks. You want your logo, your colours, your interior integration. Branding is one of the main reasons customers pick us.
- You're dealing with a specific product mix: pizza, frozen ready meals, protein, pre-workout, cosmetics in a Bull Lift. The Necta line doesn't cover these combos; we handle them via Custom & Secure or Frost Food.
- You want to own the machine. The economics of buying tend to beat leasing within twelve to eighteen months at higher footfall.
- You're after a tailored configuration, not a catalogue quote. Our online configurator gives you the exact model in five questions.
Pricing: is BullVend cheaper than ASO Vending?
This one is tricky because the models differ. With ASO full-service you pay monthly (often based on revenue) and you don't worry about the investment. With BullVend you buy once and keep the full revenue.
In practice that means: if your location has higher revenue, the purchase pays back faster and you earn more long-term. If the spot is weaker or you're just testing it, full-service is less risky. For a precise estimate for your spot, our payback calculator works in under sixty seconds.
BullVend or ASO Vending: what we'd choose
When customers ask for an honest recommendation, we tell them one sentence: get both quotes, tell each side exactly what you're solving and look at the offers. ASO and we are both transparent operators. For smaller and mid-size projects with a focus on branding or a specific assortment, we win almost every time. For sweeping nationwide networks, their infrastructure has the edge.
